The pool area at Ben's Guesthouse was lovely, yet our room lacked basic furnishings and felt understocked.

The new wing was stunning! 😍 Super clean and modern, really loved the spacious room. A downside was the noisy pool pump nearby. a pleasant stay!

The gardens surrounding the guesthouse create a serene atmosphere.
Unfortunately, my stay was marred by some significant downsides. The noise from other rooms was intrusive, making it difficult to rest. the lack of adequate furnishings in our room left us feeling uncomfortable, as there was no place to store our luggage. the cleanliness of the towels and shower mat was questionable, which definitely detracted from our overall experience.

The pool area is fantastic—it's a cool spot to unwind after a long day of exploring. The Lanna-Thai architecture and gardens create a charming touch that feels distinctly local.
The room I stayed in was lacking essential furnishings, like a bedside table and a fridge, which made it less comfortable. the air conditioning was only in one part of a larger room and it took way too long to access our homestay room due to some key issues. Walking to the nearest restaurants was about a 20-minute trek, so if you're not a fan of walking, plan for a Grab ride instead.

The garden pool area at Ben Guesthouse stood out as a highlight. It provided a beautiful and tranquil escape after exploring Chiang Rai. I loved the stylish Lanna-Thai architecture surrounded by charming grounds. my room was lacking basic furnishings. There was no bedside table or fridge, making it inconvenient for storing items. The first night, I faced some noise from outside, which disrupted my sleep. A few maintenance issues like a broken bathroom door and limited water drainage were disappointing, but the cleanliness of the room was commendable. Despite these issues, the welcoming atmosphere made my stay worthwhile. I appreciated the location that allowed easy walks to three night markets.

Had a blast staying here with friends! The renovated rooms were super comfy, and we loved chilling by the pool after exploring the night market and visiting the White Temple. Just keep in mind that it's a bit of a walk to town, but Grab is an easy option for getting around.
Our first night was noisy due to thin walls, which made it hard to sleep. Thankfully, we managed to switch rooms for a better experience.
